Alive Again!
Reference: John 11

Jesus had a friend named Lazarus who lived in Bethany.  Jesus also became friends with Lazarus' sisters, Mary and Martha.  Jesus liked to go to their house.  They were always kind and listened closely to his lessons.

One day, Jesus received a message that Lazarus was very sick.  When Jesus got to Bethany, people were outside crying.  Lazarus had died.  Martha ran to meet Jesus.  Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection.  If you believe in me, you will live and not die.  Do you believe, Martha?"  "Yes, I know you are the Son of God," Mary answered.  Then she ran to get her sister, Mary.  Mary came out and said to Jesus, "Oh Lord, if you were here, my brother would not be dead."  Jesus cried, too.

Then Jesus went to the tomb where Lazarus lay.    "Open the tomb," he commanded.  "But Lazarus has been dead several days," Martha said.  "Didn't I tell you that if you believe, you would see God's glory?" Jesus insisted.  So, they moved the stone that covered the tomb.  Everyone held their breath.  What would Jesus do?  "Lazarus," Jesus called, "Come forth!"  Suddenly, movement was heard from inside the tomb.  Lazarus walked out all wrapped up in his tomb clothes.  "Let him loose," Jesus said.  Mary and Marth ran excitedly to their brother.  He was alive again!
